Jackelyn Bugarin-Uy, Head of Operations, Tampere
Jackelyn Bugarin-Uy is originally from the Philippines and has a Master's degree in Teacher Education from Tampere University. She has cross-cultural experience in healthcare and clinical research, early childhood education, counseling, NGO volunteering, event organization, and developing socio-emotional learning (SEL) tools and training materials.
She is passionate about empowering people to grow in empathy and emotional intelligence . She founded a start-up, Emosyon Bibo (Emotion Smart), that provides SEL resources and inspiration to families and schools.
Jackie aims to organize many meaningful events that can support the socio-emotional learning of Bloom’s members and participants.
Ladislav Sedlák, Head of Operations, Oulu
Ladislav Sedlák is a passionate advocate for animal rights, a fighter for the rights of sexual minorities, and a dedicated volunteer committed to supporting Ukraine in its time of need. With years of experience in activism, volunteering, and a proven track record as a marketing expert and event manager, Ladislav continuously seeks ways to uplift marginalized communities and amplify their voice in society. Following the invasion of Ukraine, Ladislav responded with characteristic proactivity, dedicating time and resources to support the Ukrainian people. As a volunteer, they have been involved in collecting aid, organizing fundraisers, and raising awareness of the situation in Ukraine to mobilize international support and assistance. Moreover, Ladislav's expertise as a marketing professional and event manager uniquely positions them to create impactful campaigns and events that not only highlight these critical issues but also engage and inspire the community to take action. Their innovative strategies and meticulous planning have significantly contributed to the visibility and success of various causes. His unwavering dedication to justice and making the world a better place exemplifies what one individual can achieve through passion, determination, and a commitment to doing good.

Next to many life roles, from professional to personal ones, Katarina Jurišić is grateful to add Head of Operations Porvoo on that list.
As a chemist, mom, dancer, friend, she always aims to dedicate herself to whatever she does and does it with passion. Katarina believes that everyone has a potential to grow if planted on a fertile ground and she would be delighted to use her skills and tools to build opportunities and community at Porvoo, the city we call home.
