To apply, you must meet at least one of the following criteria:

2️⃣ Have attended three or more Bloom events.

(For Head of Operations roles, candidates must reside in the respective city. If no local candidates apply, external applicants may be considered.)

    As the Head of Operations for your city, you’ll lead our local efforts to create meaningful events, forge partnerships, and inspire others to bloom.

    What You’ll Do

    As the Head of Operations, you will:

    • Lead Your City’s Branch: Take ownership of local operations, ensuring smooth coordination and impactful initiatives.

    • Plan and Execute Events: Organize engaging events that align with Bloom Finland’s mission, leaving a lasting impact on your community.

    • Build Partnerships: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, sponsors, and community organizations.

    • Manage a Team: Lead, motivate, and support your city’s Bloom team to achieve collective goals.

    • Represent Bloom Finland: Act as an ambassador at local events, public engagements, and monthly board meetings as a delegate of the executive board.

    Qualities We’re Looking For

    • Professionalism and Leadership: Confidence in leading a team and representing the organization.

    • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to connect with diverse audiences and build meaningful relationships.

    • Open-Mindedness and Initiative: A proactive approach to creating positive change in your community.

    • Organizational Expertise: Capable of managing multiple responsibilities effectively.

    • Public Speaking Ability: Comfort with speaking at events and meetings.

    Preferred but Not Required

    • Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the city’s community and existing networks.

    • Language Skills: Finnish language proficiency is a plus.

    Time Commitment

    This is a non-paid role, requiring an average of up to 20 hours per month, with flexibility for special projects.

    • Oversee Branding Efforts: Ensure consistency and excellence in branding across all materials and platforms.

    • Engage Target Audiences: Develop strategies to reach diverse audiences, including event participants, potential partners, and volunteers.

    • Leverage Analytics: Use data and analytics to track performance, refine campaigns, and ensure Bloom Finland’s marketing efforts deliver measurable results.

    • Coordinate Digital Presence: Supervise the creation and curation of content for Bloom Finland’s website, social media platforms, and newsletters.

  • As the Head of Communications, you will be the voice of Bloom, shaping how we engage with our community, partners, and the public. This year, we’re excited to launch The Bloom Collective, a community magazine, and your leadership will be instrumental in bringing this initiative to life.

    What You’ll Do

    As the Head of Communications, you will:

    • Craft Messaging Strategy: Develop and maintain Bloom Finland’s tone and voice across all communication channels, ensuring clear, inclusive, and inspiring messaging.

    • Launch and Oversee ‘The Bloom Collective’:

      • Lead the planning, creation, and publication of The Bloom Collective.

      • Manage contributors, editorial timelines, and content quality.

      • Ensure the magazine aligns with Bloom’s mission and values while engaging readers with fresh and meaningful content.

    • Manage Content Creation: Coordinate and oversee the production of newsletters, press releases, website updates, and social media content in collaboration with the Head of Marketing.

    • Enhance Public Relations: Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, partners, and stakeholders to amplify Bloom Finland’s message.

    • Streamline Internal Communications: Develop tools and guidelines to ensure effective communication within the Bloom team, enhancing collaboration and alignment.

    • Promote Events and Initiatives: Work closely with the Heads of Operations and Head of Marketing to communicate the purpose and impact of Bloom’s events and projects to the public.

    Qualities We’re Looking For

    • Storytelling Talent: Exceptional ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.

    • Editorial Expertise: Experience managing content calendars, editorial workflows, or publications.

    • Strategic Communicator: Skilled in delivering clear, consistent, and impactful messaging across multiple platforms.

    • Collaborative Leader: Able to inspire and coordinate contributors and team members to produce high-quality content.

    • Visionary Thinker: Passion for innovation and a knack for finding new ways to engage and inform our community.

    Preferred but Not Required

    • Background in journalism, communications, public relations, or a related field.

    • Experience managing publications, blogs, or digital media projects.

    • Finnish and Swedish language skills are a plus but not mandatory.
